A dog named June

We are pretty excited about our neighbor's dog named June. June, the kid, loves doggie kisses and has perfected the art of giving them herself. Michael is obsessed with getting a dog right now. Labradoogle anyone?

Baby Bev

My whole family made it out for baby Bev's blessing. She is a little angel. June had a cold so we had to keep her away from Bev, but June was still really excited about her and always very worried whenever she cried. The Faulkners hosted a great luncheon after the blessing. It was fun to hang out with Alison's and Andrea's little girls. We are so excited that June has another cousin.

Reunion

We planned a mini college reunion since I was going to Ca and everyone except Jean was living there. We spent the night at Anne’s place and talked until 3 a.m. On Saturday we got manicures, ate at Joan’s, went to Magnolia’s, and did a little shopping. It was so fun to catch up with them. I miss living close to Anne and Lo. I was so lucky to meet these girls in college. Nicole reminded us how she almost left BYU before she moved in with us and I feel the same way. I don’t know how I would have made it through the quirky BYU college experience without having these girls to laugh with. They definitely made a lot of weird experiences a lot more fun.

Disneyland

A little nervous for her first time on the tea cups

My mom, Kelsea, and I took June to Disneayland on Monday. We had a great day. June had not been in awhile and was SO excited about everything. We lasted a lot longer at the park with my mom and Kels. We even met up with Janae, Steve, and their three kids visiting from Canada. I am looking forward to going back next month.

Dress up

June likes to dress up in her auntie's clothes. She was also so obsessed with Bella this trip. Everything Bella did was hilarious.

Moonlight

Megan, Kels, June, Bev, and I went out for a beach day on Tuesday. My dad and mom even stopped by for a little. June loves the beach. She loves the water, sand, people, and swings.

During my junior high summers every morning I would wake up and ask my mom if she could take me and my friends to the beach. After my friends asked their moms for a ride we would call each other and coordinate who needed a ride. Literally every day. It never got old. If no one would give us a ride, plan b was the pool. I love this beach and I'm glad June loves it too.

Strawberry Fields

With Michael on the mend we were finally able to get some California time besides for the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. We all wanted to meet baby Bev.

June and I showed up plenty early for our flight and ended up missing it because of the Denver security lines. To complicate matters June had come down with a cold that morning and they wanted to put us on standby. Luckily the man at the desk took pity on us and booked our flight rather than have us go standby. Two flights later we made it to San Diego. June even passed out on my lap during one of the flights, which never happens.

On Thursday my mom and Kelsea took June to the strawberry fields while I went to go meet baby Bev. Kelsea always takes the best pictures.

Easter Hunt

Sharing with Kendall

 How the night ended

Easter Dress

We went all out for Easter this year. On Saturday we went to the Easter Egg hunt in Wash Park with Sarah and her two little boys. That night we had the Denhams and Galbraiths over for decorating eggs and sugar cookies. On Sunday we had dinner and an egg hunt with the cousins. June was wrecked once all the festivities were over.

Mondo

In the middle of a move I snuck out with a friend to go to a Project Runway finale party in honor of Mondo. It was a bazaar theme and they had carnival games, cotton candy, rock candy, and all sorts of cute treats. We even got a manicure. Mondo ended up winning the season and everywhere I looked people were crying. I thought it was sweet that people were so excited he was from Denver. We had a great time and it was a much needed break.
