Michael Buble

We went to the Michael Buble concert on Friday night with Bev and John (a Valentine's day present from Janie and Murray). It was a really fun concert. The Staples center was packed and he put on a good show. Baby June was keeping the beat . . . or freaking out that her mom ate a salad with a dead fly in it. We went to CPK before and I got the BBQ chicken salad. I had nearly finished it when I saw a dead fly in it. So nasty. I used to love that salad!

We got to spend Easter Sunday with Michael's family. We also went over to Dave and Donna's to see Chris, Amanda, Nicole, Nate, and Will. That night we came back to our apartment and had our last night with Janie and Rebecca sleeping over. It was a really nice day with friends and family.

They planned an Easter egg hunt for the kids at Bev and John's. Calvin had two of his friends over. He came up to me to give a little kiss to my belly (some times he likes to snuggle with his little cousin) and when he realized his friends were watching he decided to blow on my stomach instead. Then he said to his buddies "Hey guys, look at that BIG FAT BELLY." Oh Cal.

Bev hosted a beautiful baby shower at her place. The Irving girls have always known how to throw a party. It was so much fun.

Here are some pictures from my grandma's funeral. Only three cousins (0f 23) missed her funeral. David and Michelle had newborns and Kelsea was unable to come from Jerusalem. Cousins flew in from Hong Kong, Columbia, and all over the country. It was a really special day honoring the life of my 91 year old grandmother who passed away on Monday. Janae's Shower

The last Saturday in March I went down to Orange County to go to my friend Janae's baby shower. Janae is due April 26th and Nicole and I are due in June. We are all having girls.

After the shower I got Cafe Rio with my mom and then went to go see my grandma. My mom warned me that they had visited her earlier that day and Megan was pretty upset. I was able to spend about an hour with her and I cried most of the time I was with her. It was the worst feeling to see her suffer discomfort. She was unable to speak, but would try to talk to me. I was able to hold her hand and just be with her. I then cried my whole drive home. It was too much to see your grandma so sick with a baby in your belly. On Monday the nurse told my mom she only had a few more days and then she passed away a couple of hours later. We feel so grateful we were able to see her before she passed. She was the kindest person I have ever met and she will be missed.
