Cathryn's Shower

I worked with my friend Cathryn at USC and her sister-in-laws threw her a beautiful shower at the Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills. We went for "tea" and they coordinated every little detail. The food was amazing. It was one of the nicest showers I've ever been to.

June's cousins in Colorado

June took her first plane ride to Colorado. She was a great travel companion (see above picture). She slept most of the way. In Colorado she was able to meet seven more of her cousins who were all thrilled to hold her. We also met adorable Jennifer for the first time. We all had a great time.

Go Car

We went up to San Francisco on Tuesday night with Murray, Janie, Steve and Rebecca. Wednesday morning we saw the city by GoCar while Murray and Janie watched June. It was beautiful. We walked around Union Square in the afternoon and went to Beauty and the Beast that night.

June's First Shopping Trip in San Francisco

June loved walking around San Francisco. She started laughing this week and has been smiling a ton. She is also developing a talent for spit bubbles. She has a strong neck despite her chubby cheeks. She rolled over twice at 4 weeks and has rolled over a few more times since then.

Michael and I have been taking turns going to church, but June finally came when we were in Modesto.

2 Month Appointment

June got her shots this week and we learned that June is in the 75th percentile for her weight and 25th percentile for her height. She is now 11 pounds 13 oz.

8 Weeks

Little June is 8 weeks old now. I can't believe it.

Night at the Hotel

Michael’s family came into town for the baby blessing and stayed at the late Four Seasons and now Park Hyatt in Aviara. While they were staying at the hotel they realized the hotel was offering a buy two nights get one free special. Since they all had to get back to work my family stayed at the hotel for the last night. It was a lot of fun.

We all met in SD for June's baby blessing. Since my parents are now in the singles ward we blessed her at my parents house. She didn't cry at all until her blessing and then it all came out. She wore a vintage dress my mom bought awhile ago in hopes of a granddaughter. On Friday night Michael and I got to go to dinner with Michael's family at the Argyle Steakhouse while my mom watched June. It was our first night out on the town since we had her. On Saturday night my family had everyone over for Megan's birthday. It was a lot of fun to have both our families hang out. We had a really nice weekend. As you can see in the pictures . . . June loved being held by all her family members.
