Dinner at the Browns

Back in November Scott and Julianne has us over for dinner at their new place. It was lots of fun and we loved seeing them. It had been too long since we had gotten together.

Park Time

It has been so fun to see Lo, Anne, and their kids so often. Here is a picture we got at the park before Warren announced "I'm getting out of here." Lucy and Warren are always so sweet to June.

Colleen's Dinner

Colleen had a going away dinner at El Cholo. I was sad that she decided to leave LA, but it was fun to get together with old friends. I always get sentimental when I go over to the Westside. I have so many fun memories and I miss so many of my friends that have left LA.

The Fighter

Anne and I went to the Fighter premiere. Anne was great at recognizing the d-listers . . . I was too distracted by the free soda and popcorn. The middle picture is of the real brothers the movie was based upon. It was a huge pain getting into Hollywood, but it was a really fun night.

Thanksgiving Dinner

We spent Thanksgiving in Palm Springs with some of Michael's family. It was a fun time. June loved seeing Calvin and Luke everyday. We also got to meet baby Christopher for the first time. June actually paid attention to him. I think she liked all his grunting noises.

Sunglasses

Kelsea came up to see June right after she got back from Hawaii. June and I took her to a few bakeries and to the Grove. We also took these funny pictures.

Thanksgiving

Here is a picture from Michael's phone when we were in Palm Springs for Thanksgiving. We had so much fun.

June's Favorite Things

June loves watching football with her dad. It's one of her favorite things alongside staring at strangers and smiling at anyone who will smile at her.

New Tricks

Our sweet little baby likes to go for the wipes dispenser any chance she gets. It just tastes so good.

Solids

June had her first taste of very diluted rice cereal. She really took to it and was very excited about it. When there was a lull in our delivery of food she started licking off her tray. She also cried once it was all gone. I'm not sure how much she actually swallowed as displayed in the last picture. We'll keep trying! We got a few hilarious videos, but I'm debating putting those up.

Huntington Gardens

Lorraine, Vincent, and Warren

We went to the Huntington Gardens today with a group of friends. June slept most of the time, but I tried to get a few pictures once she woke up. June and I went to Joan's on Third and Magnolia bakery twice this week. Once on Saturday with my mom and then again on Tuesday with Anne and Lucy. It has been a fun week.

Pebbles and Bunny

We met Anne and Mike to walk around their neighborhood. June loved being outside and watching all the people. She was totally entranced with little Lucy.

June at Disneyland

My mom got us a season pass to Disneyland and we finally went for the first time on Friday. June loved the lines more than the rides because there were more people to smile at. She didn't cry on the rides . . . she just took it all in. I can't wait to go back.

In most of the pictures we took June is staring at Lucy except for one lucky shot captured above. June definitely loves to observe "big kids."

Halloween Pajamas

We went to visit Cathryn and baby Willa this week. Baby Willa was beautiful and had tons of gorgeous hair. She was so sweet and calm. We were both pregnant while working at USC together. June's sweater sleeve is quite wet from her drooling habit.

Lorraine's Birthday

For Lorraine's birthday we decided to celebrate by going to eat at Mike and Anne's and then playing Nertz. Anne, Lo, Nicole, and I have been getting together with our kids during the week, but it was fun to do something with the husbands as well. My mom came up for the day and watched June for us so we could have a night out. It was a lot of fun. We ended up staying up way too late and of course June was up for most of the night once we got home. It was worth it though. I love that some of my best college friends live so close right now.

Weekend

Last weekend Michael's parents came into town to meet baby Ruby. We had a fun filled weekend. They got in Friday night and we took them to Philippe's on Friday night as soon as they got in. On Saturday we drove over to the Palisades and went to breakfast, Calvin's soccer game, took the boys to Color Me Mine, walked around 3rd Street Promenade, and then went to dinner at Houston's (the same one Michael took me on for our first date). Judy, Bev's mom, was in town and it was fun catching up with her. After a lot of practice June is now rolling over. A few of the pictures above are of us cheering her on. She loves showing everyone her new trick. Calvin and Luke are also a lot more interested in June since she is now smiling and more interactive. They took turns holding her hand in the stroller while we walked around the Promenade. The feeling was mutual though . . . June barely cried all day. She loved hanging out with her cousins. It was a really fun weekend.
