Bath Time

We got June a swing yesterday, which she seems to like. She also took her first bath. She enjoyed it until the water got a little too cold.

At her doctor's appointment she weighed in at 9 pounds 14.7 oz. Calvin saw her this week and said "She's chubby."

Tummy Time

June will take her binkie when she has her tummy time. She likes to lift her head and exercise her neck.

I got induced on Thursday and 6 and 1/2 hours later our baby came. We were a little nervous because they told us it could take 2-3 days for inducement with first time moms. It all happened s0 fast and my mom made it just in time for the delivery. She was born 8 pounds 6 oz. We are so thrilled to have a healthy, happy baby girl.

Nesting

We are in our final stages of nesting before the baby comes . . . and apparently so are the pigeons on our balcony. We’ve been hearing them for the last few months and I’ve been trying to figure out how to get rid of them. We tried a fake owl from my parents, but it turns out that city pigeons are not scared of owls. Michael was planning on using his BB gun from home, but when I told him that they had a nest he said he could not do it anymore because he would feel bad since they “live here.”
